Advances in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering are the order of the day with the rapid industrialization and urbanization driven by the advances in technologies are seen in developed and developing nations. Innovative design and construction practices are challenging tasks to the architects and engineers to meet the ever-growing demands of communities, cities, societies and nations.

Additionally, in recent years, sustainability concept has become the common interest of numerous disciplines as the Concept of Green Architecture, also known as “sustainable architecture” or “green building,” is gaining momentum. As the architects across the globe strive to minimise the number of resources consumed in the building’s construction, use and operation, as well as curtailing the harm done to the environment through the emission, pollution and waste of its components, the Environment Sciences is another discipline fuelling the success of Sustainable Architecture.

The Architecture and Civil Engineering (ACE) Conference 2019 is a premiere Academic Research Conference for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Architecture Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. The conference will bring together leading researchers, architects, engineers and scientists in this domain of interest from around the world.

  • Infrastructure Design for Regions in Rapid Development
  • Infrastructure Design for New Vertical Cities
  • Infrastructure for new Cities and Landscapes
  • Design for Urban Infrastructure: Parks, Buildings, Streets and Systems
  • Smart Homes, Smart Cities, Smart Nations driven by Internet of Things

Special Track: ACE 2019 will have 3 special tracks on:

1. Urban Planning and Property Development (UPPD) :

The key focus of this special track will be ways to improve urban planning and property development in order to enhance the lifestyle of the community. The conference will provide an opportunity for the participants to exchange novel ideas and new research development information in the field of urban planning, urban design, real estate and property development. Some of the topics but not limited are:

  • Equitable Economic Development – promote demand-side economics in making places more attractive to, and easier for, entrepreneurs and the skilled labor force
  • Game-Changing Transportation
  • City Redesign for Emergency Management

2. Sustainable Energy and Environmental Sciences (SEES) :

The key focus of this special track will be Principles of Green Architecture such as Water features and their management; natural building design; passive solar design; green building materials; living Architecture and how these principles are applied in a sustainable fashion to achieve an eco- friendly building. Some of the key topics but not limited are :

  • Frontiers of Renewable Energy Production Research
  • Sustainable Energy and Climate Change
  • Sustainable Energy and Ecosystem
  • Sustainable Energy Assessment
  • Sustainability & Green Structures
  • Water features and their management
  • Natural building design; Passive solar design

3. Smart Homes, Smart Cities, Smart Nations driven by Internet of Things :

The term Smart home/Smart city can also be described in a wide sense as the convergence of ICT, the ecological environment, energy technologies, and support facilities within urban and residential environments.

The key focus of this special track will be to highlight the research and development in the area of IoT technologies for Smart Homes & Smart city. The conference will provide an opportunity for the participants to exchange novel ideas and new research development information in the field of Smart Homes, Smart Cities and Smart Nation driven by IoT. Some of the topics but not limited are:

  • Smart buildings, smart transportation, smart government, smart facilities
  • Operation systems, sensor networks, smart devices, and sensors that affects the design of Smart Cities
  • Telecommunication platforms, control systems, data analysis, and interactive web services that goes into the infrastructure design of Smart Cities.
